MA Magazine Journalism (PPA Accredited)

2017 - Present

Three key university modules:

  • Advanced Features: I have produced a range of articles from a business feature to a persoanl experience piece targetted for specific publications. The research process allowed me to develop my professional rapport while I also enhanced my skills to tailor my content to particular titles and audiences.

  • Magazine Production: I developed and expressed my self-identity and creative flair while learning the processes of graphic design and the magazine profession. I worked individually and in a group, using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, to produce two volumes of Go With Me magazine to fortnightly deadlines. I enjoy creating these elements so other people can experience something unique.

  • Media Law & Ethics: This module enabled me to explore and respond to contemporary journalism issues. During Media Law, I considered and applied the ethics and legalities of reporting.
